Fixing nuts GN 543.1Information
The window of oil level sight glasses GN 543.4 is embedded in the body during the injection process and it is therefore absolutely leaktight.
Prismatic-Oil level sight glasses use the so-called prismatic effect of a „cat’s eye“ to give a clear and unmistakable oil level reading irrespective of oil colour or viscosity. The advantage of these effects becomes obvious in case of a total underfilling or overfilling and monitoring the situation under unfavourable conditions.
The sealing ring is embedded in a radial undercut and it cannot be extruded during the tightening operation.
Assembly instruction:
For mounting on walls of less than 4 mm thickness please use a fixing nut GN 543.1.
